Tour Des Marques Is Back!

Yay! I've picked up another SAL piece I had abandoned! I managed a few hours on Tour tonight, with over one there's only so much a girl's eyes can handle. I'm stitching this over one on 28ct.

Tonight I've started going through my charts and magazines for Vonna's Neighborhood RR. She'd like English style cottages and buildings. As you all know I'm a fantasy girl... so I've got to dig to find just the right thing!

I survived my first day back at work. I came back to find my palm scanner isn't loading the drivers for the socket scanner so I lost a day of inventory taking... but I certainly had more work to keep me busy. I did need a bit of a nap when I got home tonight!

I'm looking forward to the approaching weekend, its Ann's annual retreat where we oooh, ahhh, stitch, eat, and a few of us find spaces to sleep be it on the floor, in the shop or in the RV. I can't wait!

Congratulations on your progress. Haven't you stitched this piece already once? Ann.

Looks great. I love how over 1 looks but agree that it is hard going on the eyes!

Uhhh...I think you mean Von's RR...because in mine, I don't care, anything small townish :) I think Von was the cottage's girl :) But it's easy to get us mixed up because all you're dealing with to change identities is a "NA" ! LOL!
Your WIP is really looking smashing :)

I just love this one! I have this one in my stash. Are you using both DMC and Anchor floss?

Hey Dani,

I think we'll have some fun this weekend. I am anxious to see your completed Noah's Sub!
Did my niece ever get hold of you?
Over one can be tedious but oooh the results are fantastic!

Nice to see you working on this one again. I really love this design!

This is such a neat design, but the over 1 would be tiring on the eyes. It will be fantastic when finished though.

Welcome back to the Tour Des Marques.
Looks like you made some progress I didn't stitch on mine yet this week because I just had to finish my Witch.
And I did. Yippee!!!

I just can't imagine doing over 1. I don't think my eyes could take it! I'm sure it will be worth it though. Have a good time this weekend. I'll be thinking of you while I'm working. Is Rebecca still going?

One over one! This will be a beautiful piece with all the color changes. I can't imagine all those changes and doing it one over one.
Your weekend sounds great. I wish I had one of those planned. Enjoy the time with your friends.

That is looking great, will it have a regular slot in your rotation now that the sub is finished?

It is so easy to get me and Vonna mixed up, lol!

You're the fantasy girl and finding the right design for your RR will be a challenge for me! :D I think I've found a few things in some of my magazines that might just work. Can't wait to get my hands on your rr!
